PL1 is an example of minimal, functional design with careful attention to detail. Its design-led approach aims to integrate into every home, creating a new typology of object that blends the transformative quality of plants and light.
Discreetly embedded into PL1 are the 3 fundamentals of horticulture lighting technology; light colour, brightness and duration. The broad spectrum LED mimics the colours emitted by the sun while a built in timer allows PL1 to intuitively switch on or off, providing the optimal duration of light for your plants. It does all this without the need for any smartphone apps or IoT features. The distance between an artificial light source and the top leaf is also key to a plant's success. A unique adjustable arm allows PL1 to grow with your plants. With up to 30cm of height adjustability there's enough room for leafy greens and herbs to larger botanicals. The circular base accommodates any planter size up to 25cm in diameter.
